MACSARPeople of Batticaloa have been asked to stay away from MACSAR Networks and Engineering Services in Thandavenveli, Batticaloa, as a customer alleges this shop took money from his credit card which the customer did not authorize.

Debris recovered from Batticaloa seas not part of an aircraft

BattiAirPartThe navy has sought the assistance of the Air Force to identify an object believed to be part of an aircraft, recovered off Kaluthawalai, Batticaloa.

The navy recovered it after fishermen engaged in deep sea fishing spotted it about 20 nautical miles north off Pasikkudah seas on Monday. Subsequently, it was taken to Trincomalee navy base last Friday and handed over to the Air Force yesterday.

Electricity tariff will not be hiked.
